About PJS

Promoting the understanding, appreciation, and application of the Analytical Psychology of C.G. Jung
The Pittsburgh Jung Society is a not-for-profit organization founded for the purpose of meeting the educational and professional needs of those in the Pittsburgh area who have an interest in the Analytical Psychology of C.G. Jung. The Society evolved out of the Pittsburgh Jung Seminar, sponsored for many years by Dr. Harriet Gordon Machtiger as an adjunct to the local Jungian analytic training program.

Each year the Society sponsors a program of classes, seminars, lectures, and workshops.

The Pittsburgh Jung Society relies on volunteers and members to help bring these lectures and seminars to the public. Becoming a member of the Society is one way of contributing to a community-wide effort to bring quality programs on Analytical Psychology to Pittsburgh.
